FMUP Meeting on Academic Integrity
As part of the European Network for Academic Integrity project, coordinated at the University of Porto by Laura Ribeiro, Assistant Professor of FMUP, and continuing a series of events on this subject, on March 3 and 4, "FMUP MEETING ON ACADEMIC INTEGRITY "in the Auditorium and Room 3 and 4 of the Medical Research Center. This meeting aims to bring together experts in this area, who will disseminate results, and share experiences and concerns.
On March 3, two lectures on "Institutional ethical committees: perspectives on medical ethical issues" by Walter Osswald (12.00), Professor Retired of FMUP and "Research integrity: focus on selective reporting, the replicability crisis and the need for more transparency "by Lex Bouter (4 pm), Professor at Vrije Universiteit University in Amsterdam.
On March 4 the main lecture will be carried out by Marco Cosentino, from the University of Varesi, Italy and will have as theme "The responsible use of animals in science".
A round table with the participation of Carlos Fiolhais (U. Coimbra), João Ribeiro Mendes (U. Minho), and Jorge Félix Cardoso and Francisco Almeida (students of FMUP) on the 4th (10h30).
